Frequently Asked Questions
What is ADL Health Coaching, really?
ADL Health Coaching is practical support for everyday life. We work on routines, hygiene,
organization, follow-through, scheduling, and staying steady when life feels overwhelming. This isn’t
about fixing you or pushing harder — it’s about building systems that fit your real life.
Is this therapy?
No. This is not therapy. ADL coaching is coaching-based and skills-focused. It works well alongside
therapy but does not replace it.
Who is this for?
This is for adults who struggle with daily tasks, feel overwhelmed by basic responsibilities, need structure and accountability, and want support without judgment or pressure.
Who is this not for?
This service is not for crisis intervention, emergency mental health support, clinical therapy, medical care, or 24/7 availability.
What happens during a session?
Sessions are 90 minutes and collaborative. We break tasks down, build routines, problem-solvebarriers, plan together, and adjust systems as life changes.
How often do sessions happen?
Most clients meet weekly. Some move to bi-weekly once systems feel more stable.
How much does it cost?
Sessions are $60 per 90-minute session, or $240 per month for weekly sessions. A limited slidingscale is available when possible.
Do you take insurance?
No. ADL Health Coaching is private-pay and non-medical.
What’s the difference between ADL coaching and PCA?
ADL coaching focuses on building skills and routines. Personal Care Assistance (PCA) provideshands-on help. They are separate services.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens. Reasonable notice is appreciated. Specific policies are reviewed during onboarding.
